Clyde Malting Building Weddings | Duluth, MN | Lexi & Ryan | Styled Shoot
There’s a brand-new wedding venue in Duluth, one that I was so thrilled to be able to shoot at before they even hosted their first wedding.
The Clyde Malting Building is owned by the experienced team at Clyde Ironworks, and has the same historic vibe with a nod to Duluth’s industrial past. They’ve thought of everything. Natural light? Check. Spacious getting ready areas? Check. Plenty of room for ceremonies, social hours, and receptions? Check, check, check.
I love the muted gray-blues on some of the walls, hints of green on doors and railings, and the plentiful natural wood and exposed brick.
Amy Johnson at E’Clips on the Lake is amazing at gorgeous bridal hair. Every time I see her work, I’ve been wowed at the effortless elegance she’s created — this is how I’d want my hair to look on my wedding day!
Derick Cich Makeup Artistry is a master makeup artist. I have worked with him hundreds of times, and have never had one client feel like they didn’t look like the best version of themselves. The dark berry lip he chose was perfect for this styled shoot.
Wedding day jewelry provided by a Duluth institution, Security Jewelers.
Groom’s Attire provided by Mainstream Fashions for Men. I love the personal service and breadth of selection they provide!
If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, take this as a sign. Just do it. You will not regret having Northland Special Events take care of everything — from conceptualizing the space, helping with color palettes and decor, renting props and linens, draping the ceiling, designing all the florals, and providing flawless day-of coordination. Don’t want to stay up until 2:00 am cleaning up after your own wedding? Let them worry about that too.
I’m so impressed with the food and signature cocktail service the Malting Building provides. Everything looked and smelled amazing!
Last, but not least, a huge thank you to our models, Lexi and Ryan. They were so patient, fun, and easy to be around! Thank you both!
